Opelousas A Service of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, August 27, 2012, at Sibille Funeral Home Chapel in Opelousas, LA, for Paul Allen Vidrine, age 35 who passed away on Friday, August 24, 2012 at M. D. Anderson Hospital in Houston, Texas. Rite of Committal and interment followed in the Myrtle Grove Cemetery in Opelousas, LA. Rev. Father Paul Bienvenue will celebrate the Service.

Paul was a native and longtime resident of Opelousas. Paul worked as a Pipe Xray Technician in the NonDestructive field for 8 years. Paul was a loving father, son, brother and friend to all that knew him. He is going to be sadly missed by all.

Survivors include his children son, Gage Allen Vidrine and daughter, Bailey Lynn Vidrine of Grose Tete, La. parents, Wayne and Edna Henry Vidrine of Opelousas mother of his children, Aimee Ducharme of Grose Tete, La. brother, Ricky James Vidrine and wife Tammy of Opelousas sister, Debbie Lynn Spencer and husband Chris of Opelousas and a host of aunts, uncles, nephews and one niece.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Kenneth Roy Vidrine paternal grandparents, Alide and Harold Vidrine and maternal grandparents, Dorothy and Clifton Henry.

Visiting hours will be observed in the Sibille Funeral Home of Opelousas on Sunday, August 26, 2012, from 10 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. On Monday, visitation will continued from 8 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. A Rosary service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday evening in the funeral home.
