Paul Morain

Opelousas – A Memorial Service for Paul L. Morain will be held on Sunday, December 26, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the American Legion Hall (261 Bayou Road) in Port Barre.

Paul, age 53, a resident of Port Barre, passed away on Friday, December 17, 2021, at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Paul was an avid outdoorsman he enjoyed hunting and especially going fishing. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Paul is survived by his sons, Bradley Morain and wife, Channon, Sidney Morain and wife, Alison, and Joseph Morain; the mother of his children, Jodi Kelley Taylor; brother, Anthony Morain; sisters, Michell Morain and Deborah Morain; 6 grandchildren, Elizabeth Morain, Andrew Braun, Brayden Morain, Emerie Morain, Cooper Morain and Sawyer Morain.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents, R.J. Morain and Geraldine LeJeune Morain.

The family would like to offer a special thanks to LA Hospice and Palliative Care and their Nurse Donnie for her care and compassion.
