Paul Harris

OpelousasFuneral Services for Mr. Paul A. Harris, age 49, will be held with a private ceremony. He died peacefully on Sunday, September 21, 2014, in Zachary, LA.

A native of Port Barre, Paul lived in the Zachary area since 2009. He was the site superintendent at Turner Industries where he had worked for over 25 years. He was highly respected by his coworkers. He was an avid fisherman and spent as much time as possible at his camp on Lake Bruin. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.

He is survived by one son, Justen Harris of Opelousas one daughter, Morgen Harris Duplechain and husband, Bobby of Port Barre one grandchild, Lane Duplechain of Port Barre his mother, Sue Traylor Devillier of Opelousas and two sisters, Jenny Harris Blair of Zachary and her children, Rebecca and Elizabeth and Judy Harris Williams of Baton Rouge and her children, Abbey and Jacob.

He was preceded in death by his father, Albert M. Harris.
