Patricia Soileau

Opelousas Funeral services for Mrs. Patricia Reed Soileau, age 77, will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, April 10, 2009 at the Scared Heart Catholic Church, Prairie Ronde, followed by interment in the Scared Heart Catholic Cemetery In Prairie Ronde . Fr. Dan Picard will celebrate the service.

Mrs. Soileau was a native of Prairie Ronde and a long time resident of Prairie Ronde. She passed away at 5:50 a.m. on Wednesday, April 8, 2009, at the Opelousas General Hospital St. Landry Extended Care Unit.

Survivors include Three sons , Harold Lynn Soileau and wife Ivy Dale, Michael Dale Soileau and wife Pat, Carl James Soileau and wife Paula, all of Prairie Ronde, and one daughter Madeline S. Deshotel and husband John of Prairie Ronde, two brothers, J.Y. Reed and wife Novella of Opelousas, and Kenneth Reed and wife Louise of Prairie Ronde. She has 10 Grandchildren, and 12 Great Grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her husband Gerar Jim P. Soileau and her Parents Mr. Clifton and Alice Dupre Reed; grandchild Daniel Gay.

Visiting hours will be observed in the Sibille Funeral Home of Opelousas on Thursday April 9, 2009 from 10:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. and visitation will continue from 8 a.m. on Friday until 1:00 p.m. when we will leave to go to Church.
