Grand Coteau Funeral services for Mrs. Odile L. Reed, age 86, were held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 3, 2009, in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel in Grand Coteau. Interment followed in the St. Charles Cemetery. Fr. Angelo Cremaldi officiated the service.

Mrs. Reed was a native of Prairie de Femmes, LA, and was a long-time resident of Opelousas. She died on Thursday, January 1, 2009, in J. Michael Morrow Memorial Nursing Home in Arnaudville, LA.

She is survived by one son, Gerald Quebedeau of Houston, TX; one daughter, Mrs. Dolores Q. Sibille and husband, Lowell A. Sibille, Jr. of Opelousas; one sister, Beulah Guilbeau and husband, Wilbern of Carencro; 5 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

Mrs. Reed was preceded in death by her parents, Theodore and Clotilde Marks Lagrange; and one brother, Alduse Lagrange.

Visiting hours were observed on Saturday, January 3, 2009, from 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. in the Sibille Funeral Home of Grand Coteau.
