Opelousas- A Memorial service and Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Norman Michael Harris, 76, at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, December 21, 2015, at St. Landry Catholic Church in Opelousas, LA.

Norman passed away peacefully at sunrise after a lengthy illness on Friday, December 18, 2015, in Opelousas, LA.

He is survived by his daughter, Victoria Carriere and Loren, her husband; his grandchildren, Ivy, Autumn, and Loren, Jr., all of Opelousas; his brothers, Raymond Harris and his wife, Janette of California; and Douglas Harris and his wife, Margaret of New Orleans; his sisters, Brenda Harris of Plano, TX; and Cynthia Barrett of Lafayette, LA; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Norman was preceded in death by his parents, DeMund and Perla Harris of New Orleans, LA.
