Opelousas Funeral services for Mrs. Norma J. Tujague, age 79, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 29, 2011, in Sibille Funeral Home Chapel in Opelousas, La. Interment will follow in the Bellevue Memorial Park Cemetery.
Rev. Carlos Russo will conduct the service.
Ms. Norma was a native of Opelousas and was a resident of Church Point. She died on Saturday, March 26, 2011, at the AcadiaSt. Landry Hospital in Church Point.
She enjoyed spending time with family and friends taking care of family members, cooking and sewing. Ms. Norma was a very talented seamstress who enjoyed making dresses, hemming and helping people with their sewing needs.
Survivors include one son John L. Tujague, Jr. of Opelousas daughters, Cally Flesner of Kenner, La., Holly Jean Hall Jones of Lafayette, La., Tara T. Mills and husband James B. of Sunset, La. brother, Clayton Ambrose Vidrine of California sister, Jessie Wilson of Sheppard, TX eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Lionel Buddy Tujague,Sr. parents, Curley Edward and Thelma Perry Vidrine sister, Shirley Yvonne McGuier.

Visiting hours will be observed in the Sibille Funeral Home of Opelousas on Monday, March 28, 2011, from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. On Tuesday, visitation will continue in the funeral home from 8:00 a.m. until time of service.

Rosary will be held on Monday Night at 7:00 p.m.
