Norma Lalonde

Opelousas- Funeral Services for Norma Jean Lalonde will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 1, 2016, in Sibille Funeral Home Chapel in Opelousas. Deacon Jerome Collins will conduct the Funeral Service.

Norma was a native of Whiteville, and a resident of Opelousas. She passed away on Monday, March 28, 2016, at Acacia - St. Landry Hospital, at the of age of 78.

Survivors include her grandchildren, Ashlee Lafleur of Lafayette, and a host of other grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon Lalonde, Sr, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Doucet, sons, Terry, Roger, and Gordon, Jr, Lalonde, and her daughter, Tammy Johnson.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 31 2016, from 4:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and will reopen on Friday, April 1, 2016 at 8:00 a.m. until time of service.
A Rosary Service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday night.
