Norma Credeur

Port Barre– A Mass of Christian Burial for Norma Lee Credeur will be held on Monday, October 19, 2020 at 1:30 p.m. in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Port Barre. Rite of Committal will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery.

Norma, age 69, a resident of Port Barre, passed away on Friday, October 16, 2020, at her residence surrounded by her family. She will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.

Norma worked at Prompt Succor Nursing Home for 25 years. She enjoyed going to the casino and watching the horse races. She really loved Easter egg hunting with all her grandchildren.

She is survived by husband, Floyd John Credeur, Sr., sons, Roger Credeur and wife, Sharon, Floyd Credeur, Jr., and companion,  Jennifer Landry, and Shawn Credeur and wife, Tammy, grandchildren, Roger Credeur, II, Natalie Credeur, Silas Credeur, Brandon Credeur, Chelsie Savoy, Trey Credeur, Hannah Credeur, Parker Credeur, Jacob Credeur, and Sierra Cortez, Great grandchildren, Trent, Camille, Maci, Ashlynn, sister, Janice “Totsy” Doucet, Billie Diaville husband, Clyde, Kathy Badeaux husband, Allen, Dolores Guillory, Lisa Guillory and Jennifer Zackery husband, “Peanut” Joseph.

She was preceded in death by parents, Rodney J. and Adley Guillory, sister, Helen Guillory, father in law, Wilfred B. Credeur, mother in law, Anita Credeur, sister in law, Willie Mae Lalonde, brother in law, Wilfred Lalonde, sister in law, Shirley Jean Dupuis, brother in law, Joseph “Fra” Credeur, sister in law, Linda Credeur.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 19, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. in the Sibille Funeral Home of Port Barre. A rosary will be recited at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
