Nora Stoute

Opelousas- Funeral service will be held for Nora Stoute at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 13, 2015, in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel. Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the Bellevue Memorial Park Cemetery. Deacon Sammy Diesi will officiate the service.

Nora was a resident of Senior Village Nursing Home. She passed away on Tuesday, November 10, 2015, at the age of 75. Nora enjoyed fishing, gardening, dancing and spending time with her family cooking delicious meals.

Survivors include her children, Paul LeBlanc and his wife, Sandra of Opelousas, Kenneth LeBlanc and his wife, Patsy of Milton, Todd Stoute and his wife, Monica of Opelousas, Eric Stoute and his companion, Arlene Stelly of Port Barre, Cathy Jeffers and her companion, Mike of Sunset, Jeri Vasseur and her husband, Terry of Port Barre, Donna Dupre and her husband, Mitch of Pecaniere and Michelle McKenzie and her husband, Loyd of Church Point, nineteen grandchildren, and thirty three great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jessie Stoute, her parents, Paul and Lucille Bordelon Lalonde, her grandchild, Paul Richard, and great grandchild, Drake Richard.

The visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 12, 2015, and will reopen on Friday at 8:00 a.m. until time of service.

A Rosary service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday evening in the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Kenneth LeBlanc, Todd Stoute, Eric Stoute, Mitch Dupre, Parker Dupre, Terry Vasseur.
