Port Barre Funeral services for Ms. Nora Guillory Richard, 80, will be held at 10:00am Saturday, August 12, 2006 with a Mass of Christian Burial in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church with burial in Sacred Heart Catholic Church Cemetery in Port Barre.

Father Nicky Trahan will conduct the services.

Ms. Richard, a resident and native Port Barre, died at 3:00AM Thursday August 10, 2006 at her residence.

Ms. Richard was a homemaker who loved her family dearly. She will be sadly missed by family and friends.

Survivors include her son, Bobby J. Richard and wife Elaine of Greenwell Springs; three daughters, Carol Stanford and husband Don of Opelousas, Linda Lacassin of Port Barre, and Tammy Marks and husband Steve of Lakeland; fifteen grandchildren, Karen Lejeune, Karla Strupp, Kreg Richard, Kyle Richard, Kassie Bain, Karmen Fletcher, B.J. Richard, Trent Myers, Chad Myers, Rachal Mistric, Chuck Mistric, Brad Estis , Shane Marks, Brandi Marks, and Dione Stanford; twenty seven great-grandchildren, Dustin and Kristen Lejeune, Erik, Alyssa, and Jake William Strupp, Chase, Haylie, and Kane Richard, Kayla and Kamran Richard, Jordyn and Clayton Fletcher, Katelyn and Kelsey Bain, Sydni, Eric and Lila Myers, Hagan, Kade and Gabi Mistric, Jaci and Adam Estis, Haley Richard, Mason and Caleb Marks, Haley and Ceri Stanford.

Ms. Richard was preceded in death by her husband, Anas Richard, Jr.; parents, Eraste and Ella Guillory; brother, Willie Bill Guillory, and sister, Velma Fontenot.
