Nestor Guillory, Sr.

Port Barre-Nestor, or "Donald" as he was known to his family and friends, passed away Saturday January 30th at his home at the age of 72. He was a lifelong resident of Port Barre who in his professional life was a successful farmer and owner/operator of Guillory Grain Services and Guillory Cleaning Services. He was known for his tenacity and always putting his heart and soul into any project he undertook. He enjoyed reading and studying psychology but loved visiting and talking with family and friends most of all.

He is survived by his children, Nestor "Tiger" Guillory Jr. and his wife Stephanie of Carencro, Shane Guillory and his wife Lanie of Port Allen, Lance Guillory and his wife Stephanie of Opelousas, Clint Guillory and his wife Hollie of Carencro, Griffin Guillory and his wife Kristy of Baton Rouge, ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Nestor and Hazel Stelly Guillory, and his brother Nelson Guillory.
Per his request, and in lieu of funeral services, a private gathering of family members will take place to celebrate and remember his life. Any and all thoughts and prayers are appreciated.
