Nellie Corbello

Opelousas Funeral Services for Nellie Esther Holland Corbello will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 13, 2014, in the Sibille Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Bellevue Memorial Park Cemetery. Deacon Sammy Diesi will officiate the services.
Nellie was a native of Lake Charles, and was currently residing in Opelousas, LA. She passed away on Wednesday, September 10, 2014, at Prompt Succor Nursing Home, at the age of 93.

Survivors include her children, Cecil Corbello and his wife, Janet of Opelousas, and Walter Butch Corbello and his wife, Patricia of Pleasant Hill, MO., seven grandchildren, Kiristen C. Dodson and husband Eric, Jill Corbello, Susan Corbello, Ashley Corbello, Jennifer C. Ramaeker and husband Jason, Karrie C. Lafleur and husband Kevin, and Dr. Jesse Corbello and wife Naomi, and nine greatgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter L. Corbello, her parents, Jesse and Sophia Granger Holland, sister, Dell Landry and her brother, Hugh Holland.

A visitation will be held in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, September 13, 2014, at 8:00 a.m. till 2:00 p.m.
A Rosary will be recited at 1:30 p.m. in the funeral home.
