Nazaneen Farinaz Davis

Opelousas-Funeral services for Nazaneen Farinaz Davis, infant, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, May 12, 2008, in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel in Opelousas.

Father Kenneth Domingue will officiate the services.

Nazaneen died on Wednesday, May 7, 2008, at the Lafayette General Medical Center.

She was the loving daughter of Roosevelt and Margaret Mesbah Davis of Opelousas. She is survived by her sister, Nasareen Davis of Opelousas; paternal grandparents: Charles Pocket Davis and Helen Yea-Yea Doucet Davis of Leonville; paternal great-grandmother, Bertha Major Davis of Opelousas; maternal grandparents: Rena Pitre of Opelousas; and Ali Reza Mesbah and wife, Heshmat of Gretna; maternal great-grandparents: Dorothy Pitre of Kinder; and Alamtaj Mesbah of Iran. Her aunts and uncles include: Jason Davis of Opelousas; Pendora Davis and husband, Harold of Leonville; Casey Davis of Opelousas; Dorothy Mesbah Davis and husband, John W. Davis, Jr. of Eunice; Natalie N. Mesbah of Opelousas; and Jasmine Y. Mesbah of Cinncinati, Ohio. Her godparents are Pendora Davis and James Davis. A very special friend, Janet Lenderman, and a host of cousins, extended family, and friends.

She was preceded in death by paternal grandparents: Clifton Paul Doucet and Etha Mae Pickens Doucet; and Roosevelt Davis; maternal great-grandparents: Austin Pitre and Mahmood Mesbah.

Visiting hours will be observed in the Sibille Funeral Home of Opelousas on Monday, May 12, 2008, from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.

A rosary service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Monday in the funeral home.
