Opelousas-A Mass of Christian Burial for Ms. Natalie Mae Pitre will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 12, 2017, at Our Lady Queen of Angels Catholic Church in Opelousas. The Very Monsignor Keith DeRouen will celebrate the Mass. Rite of Committal will follow in the Bellevue Memorial Park.
Ms. Natalie Mae Pitre, age 77, passed away on Thursday, June 8, 2017 at Lafayette General Hospital. She will be greatly missed by her friends, family and all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her son, Patrick Pitre and wife, Donna of Washington; daughters, Kim Smith and husband, Craig of Opelousas, Jo Lynn Vaccaro and husband, Dominick of Carencro, Roxan Venable of Geismar and, Rhonda Pitre of Church Point; brothers, Paul Wulf and wife, Barbara of Texas and, Roger Wulf of TX; sister, Barbara Janak and husband, James of Weimar, TX; daughter-in-law, Sara Pitre of Seattle, WA; grandchildren, Tucker Smith, Lauren Vaccaro, Taylor Duplechain, Katy Venable, Cody Smith, Tyler Pitre, Courtney Pitre, Meghan Venable, Kenny Stuart, Royice "Lulu" Pitre, Sophie Pitre, Jude Lemonia and, 5 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Lillie Wulf and son, Matthew Shane Pitre.
Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, June 11, 2017, from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and will reopen on Monday at 9:00 a.m. until time of service. A Rosary service will be prayed by Deacon Joubert on Sunday at 6:00 p.m.
