Grand Coteau Funeral services for Ms. Myra Colomb, age 50, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 17, 2010, with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Charles Catholic Church in Grand Coteau. Interment will follow in the St. Charles Cemetery in Grand Coteau.
Father James Lambert will celebrate the Mass.
Myra was a native of Sunset.
Survivors include her two children: Omri S. Colomb of Sunset, and Saniqua C. Monroe and husband Joseph Chad of Branch, LA., six grandchildren, five brothers, and four sisters.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Curley and Catherine Collins Dargin, her husband, Joseph H. Colomb, one brother and one niece.
Visiting hours will be observed in the Sibille Funeral Home of Grand Coteau on Saturday, July 17, 2010, from 7 a.m. until time of service time at 11:00 a.m.
A Rosary service will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday morning in the funeral home.
