Megan Daigle
Opelousas- Funeral services for Ms. Megan Daigle, age 23, will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 5, 2009, in the Sibille Funeral Home of Opelousas. Father Mark Ledoux will officiate the services.
Megan was a native of Lafayette and a resident of Port Barre. She died on Friday, May 1, 2009, at LSU-University Medical Center in Lafayette. She was a wonderful mother, daughter, sister, and friend. Her gentle and caring heart touched those who knew her and she will be sadly missed by all.
Mourning her death yet cherishing her memories are her mother, Elaine Daigle of Rayne; daughter, MacKenzie Daigle of Rayne; son, Cameron Daigle of Rayne; fianc, Jason Billeaudeau of Opelousas; brother, Jeremy Macip of Rayne; half-brothers: Jason Macip of Port Barre; Darrin Macip of Mobile, Alabama; Edmond Matte of Church Point; half-sisters: Chrisey Metrejean of Port Barre; and Hope Matte of Rayne; grandfather, Evans Daigle of Rayne; and a host of extended family members and friends.
Preceded in death by one son, Brayden Daigle; her father, Keith John Macip; and grandparents: Obey Macip, Verna Dupre Macip, and Elsie Daigle.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to help defray the medical and funeral expenses.
Visiting hours will be observed in the Sibille Funeral Home of Opelousas on Tuesday, May 5, 2009 from 1 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
