Maverick Bougere

Port Barre- A visitation will be held for infant, Maverick Bougere, from 9:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. on Friday, June 22, 2018, in the Sibille Funeral Home in Port Barre. Burial will follow at the Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Lebeau, LA. Reverend James Fallon will conduct the graveside.

Maverick, was his parent's miracle baby who overcame so many obstacles. He was a happy baby who loved to smile. Maverick, at 8 months old, gained his angel wings on Monday, June 18, 2018 at Children's Hospital in New Orleans. He is greatly loved and will be deeply missed by his family and all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his loving parents, Savannah Young and Aquintas Bougere; his unborn brother, Maliki Bougere; maternal grandparents, Christina and Alexis Chambers; paternal grandparents, Patrick Bougere and Debra Sharper; maternal great-grandmother, Pamela Shelton; maternal great-grandparents, Amy and Johnny Young, and Mary and Dewey Chambers, Sr.; and paternal great-grandfather, Freddie Sharper.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Maddie's Footprints (P.O. Box 404, Youngsville, LA 70592).
