Maudry Moreau

Opelousas A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, May 10, 2013, at St. Landry Catholic Church for, Maudry Moreau. Rite of Committal and interment will follow in the St. Landry Cemetery. Father James Brady will celebrate the Mass.
Maudry was a native Church Point and longtime resident of Opelousas. She passed away on Tuesday, May 7, 2013, at Opelousas General Health System, age of 74.

Survivors include her children Michael Moreau Dolly of Lawtell, Joey Moreau of Opelousas, Carolyn Caskey Billy of Church Point, and Angela Capon Steve of London, England, brother Dale Soileau Kathy of Church Point, ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents Isaac Soileau and Edith and Lester Soulas, her husband, Tonise Moreau, Jr., son, James Moreau, brothers, Ervin, Sidney, Ray and Clarence Soileau, sisters, Belle Sattler, Virgie Soileau and Gloria Broussard.

Visiting hours will be observed in the Sibille Funeral Home of Opelousas, on Thursday, May 9, 2013, from 10 a.m. with an all night wake until time of service on Friday, May 10, 2013.

A Rosary service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday evening in the funeral home.
