Grand Coteau Funeral services for Ms. Mary Jean Jungjohann, age 67, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 4, 2009, in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel in Grand Coteau. Interment will follow in the St. Charles Cemetery in Grand Coteau.

Rev. Benny Reppond will officiate the service.

Ms. Jean was currently residing in Sunset. She died on Monday, March 2, 2009, in Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.

Survivors include two sons: Tal Jungjohann and wife, Joanna of Rosedale; and Llyn Jungjohann and wife, Heidi of Cankton; one daughter, Stacie Adams and husband, Chad of Lafayette; one brother, Tom Benson of Deridder; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Nelson Benson and Edna Beassie Lopez; three brothers: David, Charles, and Ronnie Benson; and one sister, Louise Wilson.

Visiting hours will be observed in the Sibille Funeral Home of Grand Coteau on Tuesday, March 3, 2009, beginning at 2 p.m. until 10 p.m. On Wednesday, visitation will continue from 8 a.m. until the time of services.

A Prayer and Reflection service will be held at 7 p.m. on Tuesday evening in the funeral home.
