Mary Graves

Opelousas– A funeral service will be held for Mary Graves on Wednesday, October 19, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel of Opelousas. Father Ken Domingue will officiate the service. Interment will take place in the Bellevue Memorial Park Cemetery in Opelousas.

It is with heavy and sad hearts that we announce the passing of, Mary, age 75. She entered into eternal rest on Saturday, October 15, 2022.

Mary, the former Mary Louise Miller, was a native of Opelousas and a resident of Kenner. She enjoyed watching Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy.

Mary is survived by her husband, Arlie “Pete” Graves of Kenner; one daughter, Melanie Welch Kellum of Slidell; two stepdaughters, Debbie Pitfield (David) of Covington and Donna G. Saucier of Covington; one brother, John Nathan “Brother” Miller (Ella) of Opelousas; one grandchild, Lauryn Kellum (Kris) of Slidell; one step granddaughter, Kristy P. Robinson (Charlie) of Walker; two step grandsons, Daniel Pitfield (Sarah) of Bossier City and Leif of Arizona; three great grandchildren, Noah, Addisyn, and Luca; five step great grandchildren, Bryson, Brody, Brooks, Bristol, and  Henry.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents, Jessey Miller & Leota Tweedel Miller, and her son in-law, Terry Kellum.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 19, 2022, from 9:00 a.m. until time of service in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel of Opelousas.
