Opelousas Funeral services for Miss Mary Beth Duff are requested to be held private by the family.

Mary Beth Duff was born in Forestville, Maryland to Charles and Lucille Duff. She lived most of her life in the Belle Chasse area. Then, she moved to Opelousas where she was currently residing.

She died on Friday, June 11, 2010, in the Opelousas General Health System at the age of 46.

She was an alumna of Belle Chasse High School. She was attending University of New Orleans where she was studying Special Education. She was a Nurses Aide and Caretaker for many years. She enjoyed spending time with children, doing arts and crafts, gardening, and decorating. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Survivors include her love of her life and fianc, Daniel Dan Rivera of Opelousas one brother, Charles Duff of Westlake and two sisters: Judith Duff of Lafayette and Shannon Duff Gary of Scott.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Charles Williams Duff and Lucille Virginia Beebe Duff.
