Mary M. Andrus David

From the banks of the Bayou a Mom, Wife and Sister was born into the Andrus Family. The youngest of three and separated from her brothers at a young age, it wasnt until many years later that they were reunited. The life she had was filled with joy when she married Joseph Ronald David; more joy came in the births of her three children. Mom was a military wife who kept the home fires burning while her husband served our Country. She saw the World through her travels as a military wife but kept Louisiana in her heart.

She was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 52 years, Joseph Ronald David. She is survived by her three children, James and wife Mary E. David, Christine and husband John E. Lalonde and grandson Matt. Jennifer and husband Harold McLelland and grandsons Joshua and Caleb; a devoted brother that came into her life not long ago, Adolph Andrus, Jr. and wife Lou. Her sisters recently found; Suzy, Barbara and Marie.

To Uncle June and Aunt Lou, thank you for your love; she enjoyed having you both in her life. Barbara, Suzy and Marie; you all gave her sisters.

To our Family in Plaisance; Mary and Mike Yenik, Herman and Natasha Rue, Beth and Scotty Soileau, Stacey and Paul Schulze and her adopted grandbabies, Emily and Mia; this family thanks you all for the love and kindness you gave her. She found comfort in her Furry Kids; Mister and Sam, after the passing of her beloved husband.

The family will be holding a Joie De Vivre, as she wished at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Mike Yenik at a later date. Mrs. David died of complications resulting from a stroke. Those that knew her were truly blessed and she will be missed deeply by friends and family. She will live in our hearts as only she could.
