Opelousas Memorial services for Mary Soileau Chaney, age 84, will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 31, 2013, in the La. Memorial Untied Methodist Church 128 N. Lombard St, Opelousas, La 70570. All of her family and friends are invited to attend. Rev. Pam Roy will conduct the service.
Mary passed away at her home on Monday, July 29, 2013 in Opelousas. Mary brought American Business Womans Association to Opelousas. She was an active Mary Kay Beauty Consultant for 31 years. She was a bookkeeper for the late W.A Darling, now Darling Farms, for 34 years.
Mary is survived by her two daughters, and a son Gloria and Elton Lanclos of Lawtell, Cindy Chaney of Opelousas and Gregg Chaney of Opelousas 8 grandchildren and 19 greatgrandchildren.
Mary preceded in death by her husband, W.O. Bill Chaney a son, Adam Wayne Guilbeau and a brother, Kirby Soileau.
