Opelousas Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, August 23, 2006, in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel in Opelousas, LA for Mary Lou Bertinot,96, who died at 7:50AM Tuesday, August 22, 2006 in the Gonzales Health Care in Gonzales, LA.. Interment will follow at Bellevue Memorial Park in Opelousas.

Rev. Angelo Cremaldi will officiate the services.

Mrs. Bertinot was a native of Opelousas. She was a longtime parishioner of Our Lady Queen of Angels Catholic Church in Opelousas. Mrs. Bertinot was a wonderful and loving wife, mother, and grandmother and will be greatly missed.

Survivors include her son, Benjamin Edward Bertinot and his wife, Constance of Prairieville, LA; one daughter, Mrs. Janell Marie Angelle and her husband Louis of Avondale, LA; 7 grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Richard Bertinot; her parents, Ernest and Cedelise Bertrand Joubert; and a host of brothers and sisters.

The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 8:30am until service time on Wednesday, August 23, 2006, in the Sibille Funeral Home .
