Mary Babineaux

Grand Coteau Mass of Christian burial for Mary Francis Babineaux will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 19, 2014, at the St. Charles Catholic Church in Grand Coteau. Interment will follow in the St. Charles Cemetery. Fr. Robert Murphy will officiate the Mass.
Mary was a resident of Sunset. She passed away on Tuesday, July 15, 2014, at her home surrounded by her loving husband, at the age of 83.

Survivors include her husband of 55 years, George Babineaux of Sunset, nephews, John Jeffery Lemelle and Charles Brooks, step daughters, Marie Babineaux, niece, Marie Blocker Mayfield, step sons, Colton Babineaux and Thomas Babineaux, and a host of nieces, nephews and grandkids, she had a big heart when it came to the kids in her life she cared for them like they were her own children.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Cora Lee Marie Milton and Marcellus Milton, nephew, Michael Lemelle, Niece, Bertha Malbrue, brothers, Horace Milton, Bob Robert Milton, and Joe Milton, Marcellous Joseph, sisters, Alice Milton, Mary Phillis Malbrue, Mary Lou Harris, Mary Johnson, Ethel Dugas, Mary Lou Lewis, and Glayds Smith.

Visiting hours will be observed in the Sibille Funeral Home of Grand Coteau on Saturday, July 19, 2014, beginning at 8:00 a.m. until till time of service at 1:00 p.m.
A rosary service will be at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel.
