Marvin Dawsey

Port Barre Memorial services for Mr. Marvin Fred Dawsey will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 28, 2014, at the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel in Port Barre. Private interment will follow at a later date. Rev. Perry Hubbs will conduct the service.
Marvin was a native of Port Barre and was a resident of Forest Hill, LA. He passed away on Friday, January 24, 2014, at his residence at the age of 56.
He was a loving father, grandfather, son and brother. He will be sadly missed by all that knew and loved him.
Survivors include his mother, Lillie Jewel Dawsey Kennison of Port Barre sons, Jeremiah Dawsey of Krotz Springs and Joshua Dawsey of St. Louis, MO daughter, Jessica Dawsey Wiltz of Krotz Springs brother, Gregory Dawsey of Corning, AR sisters, Wanda Chastain of Baytown, TX and Glenda Faye Werner of Port Barre one grandchild, Noah Wascom of Krotz Springs and companion, Lynnette Cloud of Forest Hill.
He was preceded in death by his father, Fred Dawsey and brother, Karl Dawsey.
Visiting hours will be observed in the Sibille Funeral Home of Port Barre on Tuesday, January 28, 2014, beginning at 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
