Martha Ducote

August 25, 1932 — July 22, 2017

On August 25, 1932 a beautiful blue eye baby girl was born and welcomed in to the world by Thomas L. Hudspeth and Martha Hudspeth. She was no doubt mama and daddy's little angel. Through her daddy's presence was there for only a short time, she was eternally bound and forever remained "Daddy's Little Girl". Miss Baby to her family and others, she left her mark. She was born, raised and lived her short 84 years in the peaceful Louisiana countryside.
"All in Due Time", she married her best friend, one true love, and soul mate, Leroy Ducote of Krotz Springs, LA. Together they wrote the most heartfelt love story. With hard work, blood sweat and tears Leroy built his "Lovey" the home of her dreams, and together they raised their chaps. Robin Ducote, Leroy Robin Ducote, and Betsy Ducote Rostlon, Richard Ducote, Martha Ducote Volker, and Phillip Ducote.
Mama to her chaps, "Maw Maw" to her grandchildren, and "other Maw Maw" to her great grandchildren. A true old fashioned lady, with a heart of gold. A sense of humor that few saw, but "shorty Pants" enjoyed her fair share of shenanigans. Even as her time drew near she still played silly games with the kids.
She had a furry group of chaps that adored and loved her. She left behind CoCo that she asked for on her deathbed, Marley, Lily and Brownie.
She went thru life an easy going woman a tough old bird, but even in her last days she put on her big girl panties and muddled thru. On July 22, 2017 at 9:40 p.m. surrounded by Mike, Dori and Martha holding her hands she slipped into death as easily as she went thru life. She went to meet her "lovey" in their heavenly mansion.
"OH MY! "NEVERRRMIND!!!
