MARK JASON AYMOND
Port Barre Funeral services for Mark Jason Aymond, 34, will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, September 7, 2007, in the Sacred Heart of Jesus Christ Catholic Church in Port Barre, followed by interment in the church cemetery.
The Reverend Nicky Trahan will officiate the services.
Jason, a native and resident of Port Barre, died at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday, September 5, 2007 at his residence.
Jason was an avid hunter and fisherman who also loved camping, softball and sports in general. Jason was a member of the Brushy Bayou Hunting Club, he was an Umpire Chief for the Port Barre Little League, and he played for the Murderer's Row Softball Team.
Survivors include his wife, Kerrie Guillory Aymond of Port Barre; his mother, Vivian Olivier Aymond of Port Barre; son, Jamie Bryant Aymond of Port Barre; daughter, Kennedi Renea Aymond of Port Barre; two brothers, Brent Aymond and wife Christi of Port Barre and Troy Aymond and wife Carol of Port Barre.
Jason was preceded in death by his father, Andrew Aymond; grandparents, Jerome Olivier, Sr. and Marie Stelly Olivier, Emile Aymond, Sr. and Emmeline Quebedeaux Aymond; godfather, Lannie Aymond; aunt, Rena Berbier; uncles, Carrol Aymond and Earl Fruge'.
Visiting hours will be observed in the Sibille Funeral Home of Port Barre on Thursday, September 6, 2007, from 4:00p.m. until service time on Friday. A rosary will be recited at 7:00p.m. on Thursday.
