Marion Doucet

Grand Coteau - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, February 7, 2020 at 3:15 p.m. for Marion Doucet at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Grand Coteau. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 3:15 p.m. with a rosary at 11:00 a.m. at Sibille Funeral Home of Grand Coteau. Rite of committal to follow at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Cemetery.

Marion Doucet, 88, was a veteran of the United States Army and an officer of the law.

He is survived by his sons, Marlon Doucet and wife Tanya of Little Rock, Arkansas and Richard Doucet and wife Jodi of Lafayette; his daughter, Angela Doucet McKinney and husband Howard of Sugarland, Texas; brothers, Samuel Doucet and wife Louella of Sunset and Patrick Doucet and wife Shirlein of Carencro; sister, Sadrie D. Devillier and husband Bobby of Lafayette; and grandchildren, Christian Doucet, Andrew Doucet, Alexandra Doucet, Daniel Doucet, Howard McKinney III, Caleb McKinney, and Emily Ann Doucet Richard.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Terry Ann Richard Doucet and his parents Ignace and Relia Matt Doucet.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Sibille Funeral Home of Grand Coteau.
