Marie Vidrine

Washington- Memorial services for Marie Prudhomme Vidrine will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 25, 2016, in the Washington Baptist Church in Washington, LA. Rev. Louis Charrier will officiate the services.

Marie was a native and long-time resident of Opelousas. She died on Thursday, June 16, 2016, at her home at the age of 67. She loved being outdoors, spending time with her family and friends, and going to church.

Survivors include her children, Neal Vidrine and his wife, Dusty of Prairieville; Bryan Vidrine and his partner, Amanda Doucet of Port Barre; Lora Vidrine of Opelousas; and Melissa Tezano and her husband, Elridge of Opelousas; sisters, Linda Lavergne and Shirley Pitre, both of Opelousas; and Anna Guillory of Port Barre; ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Olide Vidrine, Jr.; and her parents, Enick Prudhomme and Nita Doucet Prudhomme.
