Marie Irmine Auzenne

Opelousas Funeral Services for Marie Irmine Auzenne, age 85, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 6, 2010, with a Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady Queen of Angels Catholic Church. Interment will follow in the Bellevue Memorial Park.
Fr. Angelo Cremaldi will officiate the Mass.
Irmine was a longtime residence of Opelousas. She died on Friday, January 29, 2010, at Iberia Medical Center in New Iberia. She was a teacher in the Public School System for many years.
She is survived by her sons: Dana C. Auzenne of Chandler, AZ Duane J. Auzenne of Houma, LA Edmond J. Auzenne of Houston, TX and Curt A. Auzenne and wife, Katherine of Baton Rouge one brother, Alton Auzenne of Duarte, CA two sisters: Florence Bouyer of Opelousas and Angelina Ross of Davenport, IA eleven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Joseph M. Auzenne and Alice Auzenne her spouse, Jacques Warren Auzenne two brothers: Dorsey and Austin Auzenne.
A Rosary service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday evening in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel.
Visiting hours will be observed in the Sibille Funeral Home in Opelousas on Friday, February 5, 2010, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. On Saturday, visitation will continue from 8:00 a.m. until time of service.
