Margaret Ann Redmon Hill

Opelousas Funeral services for Margaret Ann Redmon Hill, age 79 will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 26, 2010 in the Sibille Funeral Home Opelousas. Internment will follow in the Bellevue Memorial Park Cemetery. Rev. Perry Hubbs will conduct the service.

Margaret was a resident of Opelousas. She went to be with Jesus her Savior at Opelousas General Health System, on Thursday September 23, 2010.

Ann was loved by those in her family, church, and community for her sweet spirit and quick smile. Her love and devotion to the Lord was obvious to all. She enjoyed playing cards with her friends, serving the people she loved, and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Survivors include her husband Mr. Doyle Ray Hill of Opelousas, one son James Ray Hill, and his wife Dawn, of Sulphur, one daughter Janet Ruth Hill Koenig and her husband Byron of Richmond, Kentucky, six grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her parents James Thomas and Melwyn Summers Redman, and one sister Jeanette Redmon Farrar.

Visiting hours will be observed in the Sibille Funeral Home, Saturday, September 25, 2010 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and will reopen on Sunday at 10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
