Opelousas Funeral services for Marcus Marc Fontenot, 41, will be held at 6 p.m. on Saturday, July 8, 2006, with a Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady Queen of Angels Catholic Church with burial following in Bellevue Memorial Park in Opelousas.

Father Angelo Cremaldi will conduct the services.

Mr. Fontenot, a resident of Irving, Texas, died at 11:37 a.m. on Wednesday, July 5, 2006, at his residence. He was a native of Gainesville, FL; and a past resident of Opelousas. He was a Network Administrator. He was considered a computer guru by his wife and he also loved radio controlled car racing.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Angela Glasscock Fontenot of Irving, TX; his parents: Mr. John G. Fontenot and Mrs. Mary Ann Stelly Fontenot, both of Opelousas; one brother, Leslie Les Fontenot and wife, Elise of Opelousas; and a host of family and friends.

Marc was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Clayus Stelly and paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ulysse Fontenot, Sr.

Visiting hours will be observed from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday, July 7, 2006, in the Sibille Funeral Home of Opelousas. On Saturday, visitation will continue in the funeral home from 8 a.m. until the time of services.

A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. on Friday in the funeral home.
