Manola Stoute

Port Barre – A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Manola Stoute on Saturday, March 5, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Port Barre. Fr. Clint Trahan will celebrate the Mass.

Manola, age 96, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, March 3, 2022, at Opelousas General Health System, with her children by her side.

Manola is survived by companion, Austin “Neg” Lalonde of Port Barre, her son, Noah Stoute, Jr. and his wife, Rose of Arnaudville, daughters, Priscilla S. Olivier of Arnaudville, Sandra S. Leger of Port Barre, and Donna Stoute and her husband, Charlie of Arnaudville, daughter-in-law, Angela Stoute of Carencro, grandchildren, Travis Stoute (Karen), Shane Olivier, Shelly Leger (Shawnee), Archie Olivier II, (Magan), Karen Hoffpauir (Chad), Charles Leger, Jr. (Melissa), Kenneth Leger (Rachel), Brian Leger, (Jackie), Darrell Olivier, Roni Kinsel (Dave), Alexis Castille, Nick Guidry (Morgan), and Tanya Bellard (Westley), 48 great grand-children, and 13 great -great grandchildren.

Manola is preceded in death by her husband, Noah Stoute, Sr. her sons, Darrell Stoute and Karl Stoute, sons-in-laws, Charles Leger, Sr., and Archie Olivier, 5 sisters and 2 brothers.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2022, from 9:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at the Sibille Funeral Home in Port Barre. The rosary will be recited at 11:00 a.m.
