Madie S. BrignacbrbrOpelousas - Funeral Services for Madie Stoot Brignac, age 93, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, January 4, 2010, in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel of Opelousas. Interment will follow in the Sacred Heart Mausoleum in Ville Platte, La. Father Paul Metrejean will conduct the Funeral Service.br Ms. Madie was a life long resident of Opelousas and passed away on Thursday, January 31, 2009 at Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Opelousas. Ms. Madie was a homemaker her whole life. She was a wonderful wife, sister, aunt and friend. She is going to be missed by her family and friends.br Survivors include her brothers, Cedric Stoute and wife Cherri of Bridge City, TX., Frank Howard Stoute of Port Barre; sisters, Genevieve Darbonne and husband Cliff of Opelousas, Joyce Taylor and husband Wayne of Breaux Bridge; and a host of nieces and nephews.br She was preceded in death by three husbands, Dona Dieu Mistric, Audley Guillory and Leo Brignac; parents, Frank and Rita Nezat Stoot; brothers, Lester, Sidney, Cecil, Lee and Alvin Stoute.br Visiting hours will be observed in the Sibille Funeral Home in Opelousas on Monday, January 4, 2010, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. br Words of comfort to the family may be expressed at www.sibillefuneralhomes.com.br Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Sibille Funeral Home of Opelousas.br
