Mable Bourque

Opelousas Funeral Services for Mable Bourque, age 91, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, April 11, 2014, in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel in Opelousas. Rite of Committal and Interment will follow in the Bellevue Memorial Park. Deacon Tom Lindsey will conduct the Funeral Services.
Mable was a resident of Senior Village Nursing Home of Opelousas, where she passed away on Tuesday, April 8, 2014. She enjoyed cooking for her family and friends on Sunday, loved to visit with all of them, and listening to Noah play his fiddle. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Survivors include her children, Jimmy Bourque and his companion, Jo Ann Reviere of Sunset, Maudry Castille of Port Barre, Betty Aymond of Washington, brother, Nolton Richard, of Church Point, twelve grandchildren, twenty three great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Noah Bourque, her parents, Mederie and Maria Faul Richard, her daughter, Mildred Vidrine, one sister, six brothers, two half sisters, and three half brothers.

Visiting hours will be observed in the Sibille Funeral Home of Opelousas on Thursday, April 10, 2014, beginning at 12:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. and will reopen on Friday morning at 8:00 a.m. until time of service at 10:00 a.m.
