Lynette Mengarelli

Opelousas - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Lynette Mengarelli age 53, at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 2, 2017, St. Landry Catholic Church. Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at Bellevue Memorial Park Cemetery.

Lynette was a resident of Opelousas. She passed away on Sunday, January 29, 2017, at her home.

She is survived by her loving husband of 27 years, Terry Mengarelli of Opelousas, her loving parents, Jasper and Carol Artall of Melville, her children, Katie Trahan and her husband, Jason of Opelousas, Shelbi Mengarelli and her Fiancé, Ira Thevenet of Opelousas, Sophia Mengarelli of Opelousas ,and Zachary Mengarelli. Brothers, Jay Artall , and his wife, Jill of Opelousas, Jeffery Artall and his wife, Annette of Crowley, Patrick Artall and his wife, Linda of Opelousas, sister, Melissa Mouton and her husband, Ben of Baton Rouge, four grandchildren, Mary Katherine, John Parker, Jackson and Ellis Rhodes Trahan, along with a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by grandparents, Joseph and Mamie Artall and Marceline Teer of Melville

Pallbearers will be Jay, Jeffery, Patrick Artall, Ben Mouton, Jason Trahan, and Steve Mengarelli.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Barry Branton, Joseph, William, Philip, Nicholas and Thomas Artall, Brennan and Alex Mouton, Dane, Gabe and Sam Mengarelli.

The visitation will begin at 3:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 1, 2017, and will reopen on Thursday morning at 8:00 a.m. until time of service.

A Rosary service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday evening in the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the following charities:
