Opelousas Funeral services for Lurline Miller, age 84, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 13, 2011, with a service in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel in Opelousas. Interment will follow in the McRill Memorial Cemetery, Kinder LA.
Rev. Richard Stout will officate the Service.
Lurline was a resident of Lewisburg, she passed away on Monday July 11, 2011. Lurline was a member of the Eastern Star in Lake Charles. She will be sadly missed by all her children, grandchildren and all her extended family members.

Survivors include her children Wayne Miller and wife, Christine of Plaqumine, LA., Patricia Keller and husband, Richard of Ragley, LA., and Debi Minyard and husband, Chuck of Lewisburg, seven grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
Lurline was preceded in death by her parents, Cornelius and Oneida Saucier Fosscett, her husband, Cecil D. Miller, Jr. brothers Floyd and Sidney Fosscett, and sisters June Sprinkle and Ivy Fontenot.

Visiting hours will be observed in the Sibille Funeral Home of Opelousas on Tuesday, July 12, 2011, from 5 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. On Wednesday, visitation will continue in the funeral home from 8:00 a.m. until 9:30 a.m.
