Lula Aymond

Opelousas A funeral service for Lula Aymond, age 83, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 5, 2014, in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel. Rite of Committal and Interment will follow in the Myrtle Grove Cemetery.
Deacon Collins will conduct the Service.
Lula was a resident of Lafayette. She passed away on Thursday, April 3, 2014, at the Opelousas General Health System. She enjoyed being with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by all her family and friends.

Survivors include her sons, Wayne Pipkins and his wife, Mona of Opelousas, and Allen Pipkins of Lafayette, 5 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Aymond, her parents, Wiltz and Louise Bordelon Armond.

Visiting hours will be observed in the Sibille Funeral Home of Opelousas on Friday, April 4, 2014, beginning at 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and will reopen on Saturday morning at 8:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m.
A rosary service will be held on Friday evening in the Funeral Home at 6:00 p.m.
