Ludy Ledee

LawtellA Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 2, 2013, at St. Ann Catholic Church. Interment will follow in the Holy Family Cemetery, for Mrs. Ludy Ledee.
Fr. Justin Arockiasamy S.V.D. will celebrate the Mass.
Ludy was a native of Lawtell and a resident of Lady of Oaks Nursing Home in Lafayette. She passed away on Sunday, October 27, 2013, at the age of 96.
Mrs. Ludy was a very loving and caring mother, grandmother, and a friend. She loved praying the Rosary, working in her flower garden and vegetable garden. In her free time would sew clothes and others things for her family and friends. She is going to be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.

Survivors include her children, Paul LeDee and wife, Janeth of Prairie Ronde, Nelson LeDee and wife, Christina of Beaumont, Tx., Mikel LeDee of Baton Rouge, Romonia Thibodeaux and husband, Nelson, Beaumont, TX., Linda Standberry and husband, Johnathan of Lawtell, and Catherine LeDee Benson of Lafayette, twenty grandchildren, fifty two great grandchildren, and twenty nine great greatgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Martha St. Andre LeDay, her husband, Roy Paul LeDee, sons, Fleming Sr., and Russell LeDee, Sr., and her daughter, Marie Jean LeDee.


Visiting hours will be observed in the St. Ann Catholic Church on Saturday, November 2, 2013, from 8 a.m. until 1:00p.m.
A rosary will be recited at 10:00 a.m. in the St. Ann Catholic Church.
