Melville Funeral services for Mr. Louis Boudreaux, Jr., age 93, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on, February 11, 2011, in the First Pentecostal Church. Interment will follow in the First Pentecostal Cemetery in Melville, La.
Pastor Sam Ham, Brother Ray Majors, Brother Alan Spence and Brother Michael Cole will officiate the services.
Louis was a native of Palmetto and a longtime resident of Melville. He died on Wednesday, February 9, 2011, at his daughters home in Melville.
He proudly served his country while he was in the United States Army, made invasions of North Africa, Italy, France and Germany.
Survivors include his son, Danny Boudreaux, and wife, Brenda of Oscar, LA his daughters, Sherry Duvall and husband, Virgil of Melville and Christine Pierce and husband, Charles of Hurst, TX four brothers, four sisters, ten grandchildren, twentythree greatgrandchildren, and twelve greatgreat grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by loving wife, Annie Lee Pitre Boudreaux his parents, Louis and Memelaide Ledoux Boudreax, Sr. six brothers and three sisters.
Visiting hours will be observed in the First Pentecostal Church on Thursday, February 10, 2011, beginning at 4 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. and will reopen on Friday Morning at 8:00 a.m. until time of service at 10:00 a.m.
