Opelousas – A Private Graveside Service will be held for Louella Venable at a later date.

Louella, age 82, a resident of Opelousas, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at Heritage Manor in Opelousas.

Louella is survived by her son, John Venable of Henderson, TN; daughters, Carol Broussard and husband, Ricky of Port Barre, Nicole Venable of Opelousas, and Satla Allen and husband, Philip of Opelousas; sister, Rachel Taylor of Opelousas; 6 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Louella is preceded in death by her parents, Eddie Hunter & Rosa Hebert; brother, Hindenburg Hunter; 3 sisters, Rose Jackson, Alice Granger, and Audrey Duplechin.

Louella, will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She enjoyed spending time with her family, dancing, word search puzzles and reading.
