Louella Jolivette

Grand Coteau-A Mass of Christian Burial for Louella Jolivette will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, February 27, 2015, in the St. John Berchmans Catholic Church in Cankton. Msgr. Russell Harrington will celebrate the Mass. Rite of Committal and Interment will follow in the St. John Berchmans Cemetery.
She was resident of Sunset she passed away on Tuesday, February 24, 2015, at Opelousas General Health System, at the age of 82. She loved cooking going to the casino, watching soap opera's. She worked for the Academy of Sacred Heart for 32 years. She was a very devoted mother to her one and only child Kevin.
She is survived by her son, Kevin Jolivette, sister-in-law, Norma Duhon, god- children, Clarence Arceneaux, Patrick Jolivette, Gwen Costa, and Krystal Landreaux.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Leonce Duhon, son, Ricky David Jolivette.
Visiting hours will be observed in the Sibille Funeral Home on Friday, February 27, 2015, from 8:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. A Rosary service will be held at 9:00 a.m. in the funeral home.
