Port Barre Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 12, 2013, at the Courtableau Baptist Church, for Lorena Arnaud. Interment will follow in the Cedar Hill Cemetery. Rev. Shelby Andre will officiate the services.

Lorena was resident of Port Barre. She passed away on Saturday, February 9, 2013, at her home, at the age of 77.

She enjoyed gardening, house cleaning, fishing, cooking for her family. Her family was the joy of her life. She will be sadly missed by her husband, children, family and friends.

Survivors include her husband, Myo Arnaud of Port Barre, her children, Ricky, Daniel, Marvin, Shane Arnaud of Port Barre, Phelton and wife, Angie of Sunset, Peggy Sylvester and husband, Bennie of Washington, Cheryl Kassing and husband, Edward of The Woodlands, TX., Vanessa Dominingue and husband, Neil of Lafayette, Trudie Fontneot and husband, Tony of Washington, daughter in law, Sue Arnaud, her sister, Lellia Robin and husband, John of Port Barre, twenty seven grandchildren, and twenty great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Louisiana Doucet Leger, and one son, Billy Joe Arnaud.

Visiting hours will be observed in the Sibille Funeral Home of Port Barre on Monday, February 11, 2013, from 10 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. On Tuesday, visitation will continue from 8 a.m. until 1:30 p.m.
