Washington Funeral services for Mrs. Lor D. Soileau 91, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 20, 2008, with a Mass of Christian Burial in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Washington, La. Interment will follow in the Cedar Hill Cemetery, Washington, La

Father Albert Nunez will celebrate the Mass.

Mrs. Soileau was born in Plaisance, La; and was a resident of Washington. She passed from life on Tuesday, November 18, 2008, in the Opelousas General Health System.

Ms. Lor was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a co-owner of Soileau's Grocery Store and also was a beautician. She made many friends over the years and she is going to be sadly missed by her family, friends and those that knew her.

She is survived by her son, Raynold Soileau and wife Sara of Washington; brother, Emile Boo Dupre and wife Jessie Mae of Washington; grandchildren, Donna Pitre and husband Patrick, Washington; Lyle Soileau and wife Lynn, Washington; Pamela Soileau, Youngsville; Dirk Soileau and wife Melissa, Washington; five great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.

Ms. Lor was preceded in death by her husband, Atwood A. Soileau; parents, Alfred and Regina Fontenot Dupre; sisters, Lou Sylvester and Mable Darbonne.

Pallbearers will be Lyle Soileau, Dirk Soileau, Pam Soileau, Pat Pitre, Jeremy Taylor, Ryan Soileau.

Visiting hours will be observed on Wednesday, November 19, 2008, from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. in the Sibille Funeral Home of Opelousas. On Wednesday, visitation will continue in the funeral home from 8:00 a.m. until the time of services.

A Rosary service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday evening in the funeral home.
