Opelousas Services for Lois VanDeventer Hollier, 93, of Tyler, Texas, will be held on Thursday, June 7, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. at Episcopal Church of the Epiphany, 1103 S. Union St., in Opelousas, LA, with Father Pete Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Myrtle Grove Cemetery in Opelousas.
Lois VanDeventer Hollier left her heavenly rest on Sunday, June 3, 2012, at her home at Azalea Trails Assisted Living in Tyler, TX. She is joining her beloved husband, Frederick Frank Hollier, Jr., who preceded her in 2003.
She is survived by her daughter, Susan Rasco and husband, Joe sister, Virginia Cobb granddaughter, Renee OConnor and husband, Matt grandson, Quentin Rasco and wife, Julie and precious greatgranddaughters, Katie, Hailey, and Alyson. She also leaves behind many loved nieces, nephews, and especially her dear caretakers, Oletha Young and Quante Smith.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 7, 2012 from 10 am to 11 am in the Episcopal Church of the Epiphany of Opelousas.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Azalea Trails Assisted Living and Memory Care and Heart to Heart Hospice for their loving care over the past three years.
Memorial may be made to the Episcopal Church of the Epiphany, 1103 S. Union Street, Opelousas, LA, 70570.
