Opelousas- Funeral Services for Miss Lisa Lynn Veillon, age 42, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 20, 2009, in the Sibille Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Bellevue Memorial Park Cemetery.

Fr. Austin Leger will officate the Mass.

Lisa was a long time resident of Opelousas. She died on November 19, 2009, at Opelousas General Health System. She enjoyed riding in the car, watching her cartoons on T.V., loved her Icees, always had her stuffed animals in her hands, really loved babies and small children. She was a loving daughter, sister, and friend. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Survivors include her mother: Georgia McClelland Veillon of Opelousas, her four sisters: Elizabeth V. Manuel and husband David, of Eunice, Susan Provost and friend James Motte of Opelousas, Arlene Thibodeaux and husband James of Opelousas, and Jennifer Huckaby and husband Thomas of Krotz Springs, three brothers: Garrette Veillon and wife, Terri of Walker, LA, Keith Veillon, of Opelousas, and Timothy Veillon and wife Cheryl, of Morgan City, LA.

The Family would like to extend a Special Thanks to Victoria Aggison, and Dr. Patrick Gillespie for all of the love and care.

Preceded in death by her father, Charles Veillon, and her brother-in- law Ramon Provost.

Visiting hours will be observed in the Sibille Funeral Home in Opelousas on Thursday, November 19, 2009, from 4: p.m. to 9: p.m. and on Friday, visitation will continue from 8 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
