Lily Lanclos Mayer

LEONVILLE- A Private Graveside Service will be held for Lily Mae Lanclos Mayer at St. Leo Cemetery in Leonville, LA. Fr. Darren Eldridge will conduct the service.

Mrs. Lily, age 86, a resident of Port Barre, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 8, 2020 at her residence.

Mrs. Lily was a dedicated member of the Ladies Altar Society. She enjoyed going fishing and always had a passion for sewing. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends and all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her sons, Raphael Lanclos of Port Barre, Neil Lanclos and wife, Mary E. Lanclos of Church Point, Tommy Lanclos and wife, Cheryl S. Lanclos of Port Barre; daughter, Cynthia Lanclos Pena and husband, Steve Pena, Sr. of Port Barre; sister, Gladys Benoit of Arnaudville; 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her 1st husband Elvan Lanclos, Sr.; 2nd husband, Norris Mayer; sons, Earl Lanclos and Elvan Lanclos, Jr.; 3 sisters and 3 brothers.
