Lillie Ledet

Port Barre -Funeral services for Lillie Dawsey Ledet will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. in the First Baptist Church in Port Barre. Rev. Benji Richard will officiate the services. Interment will follow at Bellevue Memorial Park in Opelousas.

Mrs. Lillie, age 86, a resident of Port Barre, passed away on Tuesday, September 1, 2020 at Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Opelousas. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her four sons, Dennis Wayne Ledet and wife, Terri of Ruston, David Keith Ledet of Port Barre, Richard Dean Ledet of Erwinville and Charles Darrell Ledet of Port Barre; five grandchildren, Kristen Bissell and husband, Matthew of Ruston, Jason Ledet and wife, Abby of Alexandria, Nicholas Ledet and his wife, Abby of Lakeland, GA., Hannah Ledet Lanclos and her husband, Janson of Arnaudville, and Bryce Ledet of Church Point; and three great-grandchildren, Brooklynn, Lily, Emma Bissell all of Ruston, Hudson and Harper Ledet of Lakeland, GA, and Briggs Ledet of Alexandria; a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Ledet; parents, L E and Letha Antilley Dawsey.

The family requests that visitation be held on Saturday, September 5, 2020, from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. in the First Baptist Church of Port Barre.
